Farmer Rolls

  • 3 Pork belly slices
  • 3 Mustard
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Marjoram
  • 200 g Mixed minced meat
  • 2 Onion
  • 4 small Gherkins
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Tomato paste
  • 1 liter Meatsoup
  1. Wash off the pork belly slices – pat dry and plate thinly, brush with mustard and season with salt, pepper and a little marjoram.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes with the cucumber, add to the minced meat, season with salt and pepper and mix well.
  3. Now divide the minced meat into three parts and place one part each on a belly disc, roll it up tightly and fix it with toothpicks.
  4. Heat some fat in a roasting pan and fry the roulades on all sides.
  5. Remove the roulades, briefly roast the cleaned and sliced ​​carrots and onions, roast some tomato paste and then deglaze with the meat stock.
  6. Add the roulades again and put them in the 200 c. hot oven for about 60 minutes.
