Caramelized Pineapple Pizza

Ingredients for yeast dough

  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 Yeast fresh
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 250 ml Lukewarm water

Ingredients for the topping

  • 1 Pineapple fresh
  • 4 Discs Cooked ham
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 200 g Grated Gouda
  • Oregano
  • Thyme spice
  • Basil spice
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 Can Tomatoes happened
  1. For the dough, sieve the flour into a bowl and make a hollow. Crumble the yeast and mix it with a little lukewarm water. Pour the yeast mixture into the well and mix with a little flour. Let the dough rise, add the water, sugar and oil and stir everything well. Knead everything into a smooth dough with your hands. Let the dough rise for about 45 minutes until it has visibly enlarged. Roll out the dough on a greased baking sheet.
  2. Peel and halve the pineapple and cut out the stalk. Cut the pineapple into pieces. Put the fruit pieces in a pan with 1 tablespoon of sugar and caramelize. Spread the tomato sauce on the pizza base, top with the caramelized pineapple and diced boiled ham. Season the pizza with oregano, thyme, basil, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 220 degrees for 15 minutes.
