Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 4 slice(s) farmer’s bread, as large as possible
- 200 g minced meat, unseasoned
- 1 small onion(s), finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves, pressed
- 4 gherkins, diced
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 3 eggs
- some chives
- Pinch(s) of salt and pepper
- some oil

Lightning-fast warm dinner and absolutely low – budget
Combine the minced meat with onions, gherkins, garlic, and mustard, and season with salt and pepper. Spread the mixture evenly among the slices of bread. Add a little oil to a pan and place the bread, coated side down, in the hot pan. Fry briefly until the minced meat is a nice golden brown. Whisk the eggs with the chives. Remove the bread and arrange on two plates. Add the eggs to the pan, season, and fry until tender. Spoon the scrambled eggs onto the bread or serve alongside.
