Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 packs of puff pastry, frozen
  • 300 g cooked ham
  • 150 g cheese (young Gouda), in a piece
  • 2 cans of mushrooms, whole, 1st choice
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt and pepper, black from the mill
  • Flour
  • nutmeg
  • 2 small onions
  • 100 g dried meat
  • 30 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry. Dice the ham, mushrooms, jerked beef, and cheese. Slice the onions into rings. Crack the eggs into the sour cream, whisk, and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Fry the jerked beef in the butter until translucent. Roll out the dough on a floured surface, place it in a springform pan, and form a raised edge. Mix the ham, cheese, jerked beef, onions, and mushrooms thoroughly and spread over the dough. Pour the egg wash evenly over the cake and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
