Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g pork goulash
  • 500 g beef goulash
  • 1 bunch soup vegetables, chopped
  • 300 g potatoes, cut into small cubes
  • 300 g beans, green, frozen
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • 300 g bacon, streaky, diced
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • salt and pepper
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 liter beef broth
  • garlic powder
  • Sauce thickener, dark
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 3 bell peppers, colored

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Season the goulash with salt and garlic powder. Heat the butter in a large pot and fry the bacon, onions, and goulash. Stir in the tomato paste and fry briefly. Add the beef broth and simmer for 1 to 2 hours. Add the crème fraîche and vegetables and simmer for another 20 to 30 minutes. Thicken with a sauce thickener if desired, add the parsley, and season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
