  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 bell peppers, red

  • 1 tbsp paprika paste
  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ bunch parsley or frozen
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tsp Pul Biber or chili powder to taste
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Finely chop the onion and garlic, peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Wash the bell peppers and also cut into small cubes, and wash and finely chop the parsley. In a large pot, sauté the onions and garlic in clarified butter, then add the minced meat. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly, until the water has evaporated. Add the tomato and bell pepper puree and fry briefly. Then add the diced potatoes to the pot and fry briefly. Add all the spices and the parsley, fry briefly, and then deglaze with the canned tomatoes. Fill the empty tomato can 2 or 3 times with water and add the water to the pot. Bring everything to a boil and simmer over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the diced bell peppers so they are still slightly firm to the bite.
