Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 leek(s)
- 2 carrots
- 3 stalk(s) Celery
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- e.g. salt and pepper
- n. B. sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Great side dish for smoked and cured meat such as honey-glazed smoked pork, for grilling or as a party salad
Chop the vegetables into small pieces (I wash the leeks after chopping and dry them in a salad spinner). Then knead them thoroughly with salt and sugar. Drain off any excess water and mix with the remaining ingredients. Let it sit for a while (about 30 minutes) and season again to taste. We love to serve this salad with honey-glazed smoked pork.
