Feta cheese sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 garlic clove(s), diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp wheat flour
  • 1 cup vegetable broth, approx. 125 – 250 ml
  • 1 cup of cream, approx. 200 g
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red, diced
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • e.g. parsley
  • n. B. salt and pepper, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

vegetarian

Sauté the diced onion and garlic clove in a pan with a little olive oil. Add the flour and sauté, stirring constantly. Gradually deglaze with the stock and cream and bring back to a boil. Add the diced bell pepper. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the diced feta cheese and let it melt. Season to taste. The sauce is very spicy and tastes great with macaroni, for example.
