Feta cheese wrapped in ham on leaf salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g feta cheese in one piece and it must be natural
  • 300 g lean ham, preferably Carinthian ham, sliced
  • 2 heads of lettuce
  • olive oil
  • Vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Dice the feta cheese and trim the ham of any fat. Wash the lettuce and dress it as usual with oil and vinegar. Roll the cheese cubes into the ham and fry briefly in olive oil (about 4 minutes) until you can tell the cheese is hot but the ham isn’t burnt – so turn it over often! Arrange the lettuce leaves on a large plate and then place the fried ham with the feta filling on top. I’d recommend a baguette with it! Good in the evening because it certainly doesn’t have many calories thanks to the salad!
