Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g feta cheese, diced real sheep’s cheese
  • 8 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely diced
  • ½ tsp lemon pepper
  • 2 tsp thyme leaves, fresh, picked
  • 1 tsp rosemary, fresh, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds, whole or roughly chopped
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • 6 olives with almond filling, sliced ​​crosswise
  • 10 grapes, blue, halved crosswise, pitted
  • Lavender flowers, plucked

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Combine oil, garlic, pepper, lemon juice, thyme, rosemary, and caraway seeds; mix thoroughly until emulsified. Stir in the grapes and olives, then the feta cubes. Season to taste. The cheese is usually salty enough (if too much, soak it in water first). If not, add a little salt. Finally, sprinkle the lavender blossoms over the cheese. Let it sit for at least 1 hour. Serve with baguette or toast.
