Feta meatballs

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 2 tbsp low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • some salt and pepper
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese (feta)
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes
  • some fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the feta into small cubes. Knead the minced meat with the thyme, low-fat quark, egg, garlic, and parsley, seasoning with salt and pepper. Form into small balls and fill each with a small cube of feta. Fry the balls over medium heat for about 8 to 10 minutes. Thread them onto skewers, alternating with cherry tomatoes.
