Fettuccine with meat sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 g beef goulash
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 250 ml red wine, dry
  • 100 ml beef stock or vegetable stock
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • Paprika powder (hot)
  • olive oil

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sauté the diced onions and garlic in a roasting pan or casserole dish, then sear the meat until crisp. Add the tomato paste and season with salt and pepper. Then deglaze with the red wine and stock. The meat should be covered in the liquid. Simmer gently for a good 3.5 hours. The meat should fall apart when stirred. Season to taste. Cook the fettuccine until al dente and serve with the sauce.
