Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 pork schnitzels
- 500 g mushrooms
- 1 onion(s) (vegetable onion), not too large
- 125 ml tomato ketchup
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Tabasco
- 3 tbsp basil
- 200 g cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 15 minutes
Place the meat in a greased casserole dish. Slice the mushrooms and slice the onion. Spread both over the meat. Mix the liquids and basil to make a marinade and pour it over the meat. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and braise uncovered at 200°C for one hour, then braise uncovered for 15 minutes.
