Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 700 g fig(s), fresh
- 100 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 50 g almonds, ground
- 50 g butter, soft
- 50 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 m.-sized eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 2 tbsp almonds, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
for a 26cm springform pan
Combine the flour, ground almonds, and baking powder. Mix the butter, sugar, and salt, then gradually add the eggs. Then stir in the flour mixture. Pour the batter into a 26cm springform pan, smooth it out, and top with quartered figs. Bake in the middle rack of a preheated oven (180°C) for about 25 minutes. Sprinkle the cake with cinnamon and chopped almonds and bake for another 10 minutes.
