Figs – Quiche

The perfect figs – quiche recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • 125 g Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • .
  • 500 g Figs
  • 200 g Blue cheese
  • 250 g Sour cream
  • Salt, pepper
  • .
  • Fat for the shape
  1. Mix the flour, butter, salt and 1 egg into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in foil and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  2. Cut the blue cheese into pieces and puree together with the sour cream. Beat the remaining 2 eggs and stir into the cheese mixture. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Wash, peel and halve the figs lengthways.
  4. Grease a quiche pan and line it with the batter. Prick the dough base several times with a fork.
  5. Pour in the cheese and sour cream mixture and press the half figs evenly into the cheese and sour cream mixture with the cut surface facing up.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 40 minutes.
  7. Serve the fig quiche warm, lukewarm or cold.
