Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 250 g crème fraîche
  • 350 g flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Mix together the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla sugar. Then stir in the crème fraîche. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir into the batter. Dry-roast the ground hazelnuts in a pan until fragrant (do not over-roast). Then stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour half of the cake batter into a baking dish, add the nut-sugar-cinnamon mixture, and cover with the remaining batter. Then, using a fork, tuck it in like a marble cake. Bake for 50-60 minutes at 170°C.
