Filled sand cookies

Ingredients for 30 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g almond(s), finely ground
  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 100 g nougat (nut nougat)
  • 150 g dark chocolate coating
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Sugar (pearl sugar)

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Make a dough from flour, almonds, sugar, and butter and chill for 20 minutes. Roll out the dough to about 3mm thick. Cut out any shapes and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-12 minutes. Melt the nougat and spread it on half of the cookies, then sandwich them together. Chill. Melt the chocolate coating, mix the powdered sugar with water until smooth. Brush the cookies with this mixture and sprinkle with pearl sugar.
