Fine asparagus toast

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g asparagus, white
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp fat (vegetable cream with butter flavor)
  • 4 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • 4 slices of toast
  • 1 pack of Béarnaise sauce, ready-made product
  • 4 slice(s) cheese, any

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash and peel the asparagus, trim the ends, and cook in boiling salted water with a little sugar and vegetable cream for 15-20 minutes. Remove the asparagus from the cooking water and drain. Roll the asparagus spears in the ham slices. Toast the slices of bread in a toaster and place them side by side in a greased baking dish. Distribute the ham rolls on the toast and pour the sauce over everything. Top with cheese and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until the cheese has melted. (Electric oven: 200°C; Gas Mark 3; Fan oven: 180°C)
