Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 bags of rice
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 300 g cheese, grated
  • 2 tubes of tomato paste
  • 200 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • oregano
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the rice with a little salt. Meanwhile, cook the minced meat in a pan with a little oil, then season with salt and pepper. Add the tomato paste to the pan, mix everything well, and season with a little sugar and oregano. Place 1 1/2 bags of rice in a casserole dish, then add the minced meat, followed by the rest of the rice. Pour the cream evenly over the last layer and sprinkle the cheese on top. Place everything in the oven and bake at 180°C until the desired browning is achieved! PS: It tastes even better if you add a layer of cheese in the middle too!
