Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 150 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 400 g jam (strawberry)
  • powdered sugar
  • Sugar sprinkles, colorful

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

Makes about 70 cookies: Combine the flour with baking powder, butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla sugar to form a shortcrust pastry. Chill. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out cookies using various shapes. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10-15 minutes. Spread the cookies with plenty of jam and place a second cookie on top. Mix the powdered sugar with water or lemon juice until thickened. Brush the filled cookies with it and decorate with colored icing sugar.
