Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g fig(s), fresh
- 200 g gelling sugar, 2 to 1
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp chili flakes or powder
- 2 tbsp mustard powder

Chop the peeled figs into small pieces, let them sit with the preserving sugar and lemon juice for 1-2 hours. Bring to a boil according to the instructions on the preserving sugar package, add all the spices, and pour into small twist-off jars. Let cool.
