Fine Potato Mash
The perfect fine potato mash recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 800 g Potatoes
- 60 g Melt butter
- 60 g Spring onion
- 3 tablespoon Cream
- 100 g Creme fraiche Cheese
- 100 g Sea-Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- Boil the potatoes in plenty of salted water until they are soft – then drain the water – “quench” the potatoes with very cold water (then they are easier to peel)
- heat the butter until it is liquid – cut the spring onion (only use the green part) into small rolls – mix the cream, creme fraiche spring onion and liquid butter in a bowl – season with salt and pepper
- add the hot potatoes and mash with a potato masher or fork – mix everything well and season to taste again – place in a serving ring on the plate and decorate with spring onion rolls
