Potato Carrot Mash with Tartare

The perfect potato carrot mash with tartare recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 800 g Floury potatoes
  • 1 kg Carrots
  • 750 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 bunch Spring onions fresh
  • 2 tsp Vegetable oil
  • 400 g Tartare
  • 100 ml Water
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley
  1. Peel and dice the potatoes. Cook with carrot slices in broth for about 15 minutes. Wash the spring onions and cut into rings. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the tartar in it until crumbly. Add spring onion rings and fry for about 2 minutes. Deglaze the tartar with water. Stir in tomato paste and season with salt and pepper and paprika powder.
  2. Drain the potatoes and carrots. Collect 50 ml of stock. Lightly mash the carrots and potatoes with the broth. Stir in parsley, salt and pepper. Sprinkle potato mashed carrots with tartare. Have fun cooking and be hungry
