Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter (soft)
  • 40 g powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs, the yolk
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 125 g flour
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 30 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line two baking sheets with baking paper. Cream the butter and powdered sugar until creamy. Stir in the egg yolks and vanilla extract, then sift the flour over the dough and mix in. Fill a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle with the batter and pipe 6cm-long strands in a zigzag pattern onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake the pastry for about 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and stir in the butter. Dip about half of the pastry into the chocolate and let it dry.
