Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g fish fillet(s) (whitefish fillet or fillet of other fish)
  • 1 roll(s)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g bratwurst – sausage meat
  • 10 g salt
  • 2 g pepper, black
  • 1 g paprika, hot
  • lemon juice
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 1 onion(s)
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • marjoram
  • breadcrumbs
  • Fat (frying fat or vegetable oil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Take 500g of filleted whitefish or other fish fillets (skinless) and put them through a meat grinder (3-4mm holes in the disk). Soak the bread roll in milk and let it absorb the milk. When the bread roll is well moistened, press it out with your hand and put it through the grinder, along with the parsley. Put the ingredients in a bowl (fish and bread roll), then add the sausage meat and the seasonings. Knead the mixture well. Form the batters, like meat batters, and roll them in breadcrumbs. Heat the frying oil to 180°C (350°F). Place the formed batters in the hot oil and fry until golden brown. If you prefer oil, you can also fry the batters in hot oil until golden brown.
