Fish curry with spinach

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g fish fillet(s) (e.g. pollock, cod/)
  • 400 g leaf spinach
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 3 tbsp mild curry paste
  • lemon juice
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Butter or margarine
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized cubes, drizzle with lemon juice and a few drops of Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Chop the onion, crush the garlic with salt, and sweat it in butter until translucent. Add the spinach, sauté briefly, and season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Transfer to a greased casserole dish. Mix the crème fraîche with the curry paste and season to taste. Arrange the fish cubes on top of the spinach and coat with the crème fraîche-curry mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C for 20-25 minutes.
