Fish fillet cooked in microwave

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g fish fillet(s)
  • 20 g fat
  • 250 g onion(s)
  • 6 tbsp sour cream
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • lemon(s)
  • Salt
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Brook trout or rainbow trout

Take a casserole dish or a heatproof glass bowl. Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings, then line the dish. Drizzle the fat over the onion rings; this can be butter or fine virgin olive oil. Sauté in the microwave for 13 minutes. Clean the fish fillets (brook trout or rainbow trout), season with salt, and place them in the dish on top of the onion rings. Mix the paprika seasoning (more or less to taste) with sour cream. Pour this sauce over the fish fillets and return to the microwave (600°C) for another 10 minutes. Check the fish after this cooking time; it should not be fully cooked. Leave it in the microwave for a few more seconds. Then serve, perhaps with fresh baguette or on a bed of rice, and with a glass of 2005 Riesling from the Mosel or Rheinhessen.
