Fish Fillet with Fried Potato Cubes

Ingredients
 

  • 300 g Fish fillet, in this case cod
  • 4 size Potatoes
  • To fry
  • 1 El Mediterranean herbs, own production
  • -
  • Wild garlic salt or similar for the potatoes, amount to taste
  • 1 Lemon, freshly squeezed
  • Flour for the fish
  • 2 Toes Garlic

Instructions
 

  • Wash and acidify the fish, so pour lemon juice over it and set it aside for the time being
  • Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes, or even slices, as everyone likes. Put the oil in the pan and let it get hot. then add the diced potatoes raw, cover and let simmer first. Just before the potatoes are done, lightly flour the fish and place in the hot oil and fry briefly. It doesn't take long, it depends on the thickness of the panes. Mine was done in 3 minutes. But should still be a little glassy.
  • In the meantime, add the garlic, herbs and salt to the potatoes. We like to eat a little curd cheese with it.
  • Of course, fresh herbs such as rosemary, thyme and sage also go well here.
