  • n. B. Salt
  • Spice mix (Puszta spice topping or similar strong barbecue spice)

ideal for a summer barbecue party

Season the mackerel generously, but be sparing with the salt. Wrap it in aluminum foil and let it marinate overnight in a cool place. The next day, thread it onto wooden or iron skewers and grill it over a charcoal grill or open fire, turning it occasionally! When the meat is white and the skin is nice and crispy, the fish is ready to enjoy! Serve with salad, potato salad, or even grilled potatoes and crispy bread!
