Fish with potato crust

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 fish fillets
  • Salt
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 3 tbsp Parmesan, grated
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil, for baking

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Salt the fish fillet on both sides. For the crust: Peel and finely grate the potatoes. Mix with egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Press lightly onto one side of the fillet and place it, potato-side down, in a pan with oil. Fry over medium heat until well browned, then add some of the potato mixture to the other side and flip. Fry again. Serve with bacon-wrapped green beans or salad.
