Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 6 tbsp oil
- 400 g apples, sour
- 400 g pear(s), ripe
- 125 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 150 g flour
- 250 ml milk
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar, for sprinkling

French apple and pear cake
Grease a 28 cm pie or quiche dish with a tablespoon of oil. Combine the sugar, vanilla sugar, the remaining oil, the eggs, and the flour to form a batter. Finally, add the milk. Peel the apples and pears, halve them, and slice them lengthwise into thin slices. Place the fruit in the dish and pour the batter over them. Bake in a preheated oven at 200-225°C for about 45 minutes (test with a skewer). Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sugar. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
