Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g flour (type 1050)
  • 1 pack of yeast
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 250 ml water, lukewarm
  • e.g. sesame
  • Olive oil, alternatively water, for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Knead the ingredients into a firm dough and continue kneading until the dough comes away from the edges and is shiny. Let rise for 45-60 minutes. Knead again and form two balls. Roll the balls out into flatbreads about 1 cm thick and let rise, covered, for about 15 minutes. Prick several times with a fork, brush with olive oil or water, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for about 20 minutes at 200°C (convection oven).
