Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 large flatbread(s)
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 spring onions
- 250 g crème fraîche
- some salt and pepper, freshly ground
- 100g salami
- 2 chili peppers
- 300 g pizza cheese, grated
- 4 stalks of basil
- ½ tsp oregano
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Halve the flatbread horizontally and place both halves, cut-side up, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Peel and finely dice the onions. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash the bell peppers and tomatoes. Halve and dice the bell peppers. Remove the stems from the tomatoes and dice them as well. Clean the spring onions and finely slice them. Toss all the vegetables with the crème fraîche and season with salt and pepper. Spread the mixture evenly over the flatbread halves. Slice the salami and chili peppers and arrange them on the flatbreads. Sprinkle with the pizza cheese. Bake in the oven on the middle rack for about 15 minutes. Wash the basil, shake it dry, and pick off the leaves. Season both pizzas with basil and oregano and serve.
