Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 20 chicken wings, whole (fresh or frozen)
- Vegetable fat, for frying
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
- Cayenne pepper
- curry
- possibly cream, for spreading

Specialty from the Trier region
Deep fry fresh chicken wings (fryers) at 170-190°C for about 8 minutes. For frozen wings, this takes about 11-12 minutes. Check frequently to ensure the wings don’t overbrown. Mix the spices in a bowl and toss the wings in the seasoning after frying. Brushing the wings with cream before frying will make them even crispier. Serve with fresh bread and/or a small salad.
