Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 125 ml milk
  • 60 g flour
  • 10 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • Water or broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

simple soup garnish

Bring the milk, butter, and salt to a boil, then stir in the flour and continue stirring until a ball forms on the bottom of the pan. Remove the pan from the heat and stir the egg yolk into the hot mixture. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold them into the cooled mixture. Scoop out small balls with a wet spoon and cook them in salted water or broth for about 5 minutes.
