Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 roll(s)
- 1 pinch(s) of baking powder
- 150 ml water or milk
- e.g. water (salt water) or broth
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
First, cut the bread into cubes and lightly toast them. Then mix all the ingredients together and let them sit for about 5 minutes. Using a tablespoon, scoop out the flour sparrows from the dough and drop them into the boiling liquid (salted water or ready-made stew). This works best if you briefly dip the tablespoon into the boiling liquid before each scoop. Let the sparrows cook until they float to the top. They’re done.
