Fluffy Cheese Rolls

  • 250 g Quark
  • 8 tbsp Milk
  • 8 tablespoon Oil
  • 500 g Flour
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 packet Baking powder
  • 200 g Grated cheese
  • 2 piece Egg yolk
  • 20 piece Cheese slices
  • Milk
  1. First of all: Quark, milk, eggs, salt, oil and grated cheese mix with the hand mixer (kneading rake) Then sieve the flour and baking powder under sieve and knead everything, roll out into a long roll and cut into pieces of equal size (should be 20 pieces) Put everything on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (please use 2 baking sheets) they will be very large
  2. Mix the egg yolk with a little milk and brush the pieces, then cover with slices of cheese and bake for 20 minutes at approx. 180 degrees
