Football Pound
The perfect football pound recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Meat mass:
- 750 g Mett / minced meat, half and half
- 20 g Salami cubes
- 80 g Breadcrumbs
- 1 piece Pretzel, pieces
- 0,1 l Milk
- 1 tbsp Liquid soup seasoning
- 3 piece Eggs
- 1 piece Spring onions in rolls
- 1 Piece. Diced celery
- 2 piece Brown mushrooms finely diced
- 2 piece Onion blue
- 1 tbsp Meatloaf spice mix e.g. in my KB
Preparation:
- Crumble the pretzel and soak in the milk. Measure and cut the remaining ingredients into small pieces and mix well together in a bowl. Chill the dough for 15 minutes. Then shape 6 cm balls with your hands and roll them smooth. With a little egg and breadcrumbs you can also coat the outside with a breading.
Frying or frying:
- Carefully pick up each dumpling with a large round kitchen ladle and fry or deep-fry in oil in a high pan (wok, farmer’s pan) for 5 minutes. Turn several times until they get the brownish color, loosely rolling the balls around with the spatula so that nothing falls apart.
Use:
- The Klopse go well with french fries and party salad, but also as an insert for a meat broth.
