Forest Mushroom Omelette
The perfect forest mushroom omelette recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Forest mushrooms cleaned, brushed and cut
- 300 g Onion cubes
- 4 Eggs
- 4 tbsp Cream
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- 0,5 tsp Pepper
- 0,5 tsp Chilli flakes
- 4 Slices of pumpkin seed bread
- 4 Cucumber slices for garnish
- Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- Carefully clean / brush and cut the forest mushrooms. Peel and dice the onions. Beat the eggs and whisk with the cream (4 tablespoons) and salt (½ teaspoon). Heat butter (2 tbsp) in a pan, fry / stir-fry the onion cubes in it, add the mushrooms and sauté / stir-fry with. Pour the eggs over it and fry / let it set. Finally with the lid closed. Season with salt (½ teaspoon), pepper (½ teaspoon) and chilli flakes (½ teaspoon). Quarter in the pan, arrange on two plates with 2 slices of pumpkin seed bread each, garnish with cucumber slices and serve with butter and salt / pepper
