Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 180 g sugar
  • 4 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 130 g ground almonds
  • 360 g flour
  • Flour for the work surface
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • 200 g jam (raspberry jelly)

Working time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Knead the cold butter, cut into pieces, along with the sugar, vanilla sugar, almonds, and flour with a little cold water into a smooth dough. Roll out on a floured surface to a thickness of 35 mm, cut out the same number of coins and stars, and cut a hole in the center of each star. Place on baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for approx. 15-18 minutes, possibly a little less time for the perforated stars. Dust the stars with powdered sugar. Warm the jelly slightly and stir until smooth. Spread it over the round cookies and place one star on each.
