French fries with spicy dip

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 600 g potatoes
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 300 g tomato peppers (from the jar)
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar, white
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • chili powder
  • Sweetener, liquid
  • Spice mix (grill spice)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the potatoes, cut them into thin sticks, place them in a bowl, and toss with oil, salt, paprika, and barbecue seasoning. Place the potato sticks on a baking sheet lined with baking foil and bake in the oven at 200°C (Gas Mark 3) for about 30 minutes, turning them several times. For the dip, finely dice the tomato peppers, mix them with tomato paste, soy sauce, and balsamic vinegar, and puree. Season to taste with salt, pepper, chili powder, and sweetener. Serve the fries with the spicy dip. Tip: Serve with a green salad!
