Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g onion(s)
  • 1 ¼ liters vegetable broth, instant
  • some white wine
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 4 slices of toast
  • Cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Steamer – Recipe

Peel the onions, quarter them, and slice them into thin strips. Place the steamer on the oven rack and slide it into the cooking chamber. Set the steamer to “Cook Vegetables” at 100°C (212°F). Time: 10-12 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare a vegetable soup on the stovetop and bring it to a boil. Sprinkle the toast with cheese and bake briefly in the oven. Add the cooked onions to the broth and season with white wine, pepper, and paprika. Place one piece of toast on each plate, pour the soup over it, and sprinkle with parsley.
