Fresh Asparagus with Potatoes and Boiled Ham

  • 8 Fresh asparagus
  • 2 Potatoes
  • 4 slices Boiled ham
  • 40 g Ham cubes from raw Black Forest ham
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Salt, pepper, sugar


  • Peel the asparagus and cut into pieces (see illustration). Cook in salted water with a pinch of sugar for about 20 minutes.
  • Fry the ham cubes in butter and pour over the asparagus
  • Add the boiled potatoes and 2 slices of ham each. You can go back to gardening (laughs).
