Fried fish bites on Balkan salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g fish fillet(s) (e.g. Alaska pollack fillet)
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 2 tbsp fish seasoning with herbs
  • some flour
  • 6 tbsp oil (peanut oil)
  • 800 g vegetables (Balkan vegetables), frozen
  • 4 tbsp oil (peanut oil)
  • some sea salt
  • some sweet paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

For the salad, heat a wok, add the peanut oil, and heat it up. Add the frozen vegetable mix and cook for about 3 minutes until slightly softened but still firm to the bite. Season with sea salt and sweet paprika. For the fish, cut the fillets into large pieces and drizzle with lemon juice. Season with the fish seasoning and coat each piece in flour. Heat the peanut oil in a non-stick pan and fry the fish pieces all over over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Transfer the warm salad to serving plates and arrange the fish pieces on top.
