Fried ham noodles with cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 200 g Emmental cheese, grated
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 100 g bacon or bacon cubes
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 1 bunch of thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • turmeric

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente and drain well. Cut the ham and bacon into strips. Peel and dice the onions. Cut the leek into small rings. Finely chop the herbs. Heat a little oil in a large pan or wok and fry the ham, bacon, onions, garlic and leek for about five minutes until the onions are translucent. Now add the drained pasta and fry everything, stirring constantly. Fry everything until the pasta and ham start to brown. Add the chopped herbs, paprika powder and turmeric and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Finally, sprinkle on the grated cheese and stir over low heat until the cheese has melted.
