Fried Herring Fillet with Spicy Fried Potatoes and Beetroot

Ingredients
 

  • 2 Fried herring fillets
  • 300 g Jacket potatoes
  • 0,5 Onion approx. 50 g
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Whole caraway seeds
  • 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 1 Glass Beetroot 220 g weight
  • 2 Stalk Maggi cabbage for garnish
  • 2 Discs Lemon

Instructions
 

  • 300 g jacket potatoes from the previous day, halve and cut into slices. Peel the onion and cut into fine strips. Heat oil (2 tablespoons) in a pan and fry the potato slices vigorously, add the onion strips and caraway seeds (1 teaspoon) and continue to fry / stir-fry. Finally, season with coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches). Serve fried herring fillet with fried potatoes and beetroot, garnished with Maggi cabbage and a lemon wedge.
