Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 onion(s)
  • oil
  • 125 g diced ham
  • 1 shot of white wine
  • 4 tbsp salad mayonnaise
  • some vinegar
  • some milk
  • some mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • Herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

also suitable for pulled pork burgers

Finely chop the onion and fry with the diced ham in a little oil. Add the finely chopped iceberg lettuce and fry until softened. Deglaze with a splash of white wine and let cool. For the dressing, combine mayonnaise, milk, vinegar, and mustard and season with salt, pepper, sugar, and herbs. It can be sweetened if you like. When the salad is cold, toss it with the dressing. I like to refrigerate it again, but that’s a matter of taste. It also tastes great on pulled pork burgers. Tip: You can easily replace the iceberg lettuce with white cabbage or kale, or mix the two.
