Ingredients
- 400 g Pig liver
- Or beef liver
- 2 Pc. Firm tart apple
- 2 Pc. Onion
- 2 tbsp Butter
- Colorful peppercorns
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Cut the pork or beef liver into slices about one centimeter thick and roll them in a mixture of flour and pepper. Peel the onions and apples, cut them into slices and roll them in flour as well.
- Let the butter get hot in a larger pan, lightly roast the onion slices, add the apple slices and the liver, sprinkle with peppercorns and fry quickly. The liver is ready when you cut it briefly and the meat is firm and no longer bloody. You may have to do this in several tranches. Only add salt at the end.

- If you want to go quickly, you simply put the liver on buttered and toasted white bread slices, put the onion and apple rings on top and you have lunch or dinner ready with ease. If you want it to be more formal, you can also serve the liver with rice, pasta, potatoes or mashed potatoes. Pour the roast residue over it.
