Turkey: Turkey Liver with Onion and Apple
The perfect turkey: turkey liver with onion and apple recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 350 g Turkey liver
- 250 g Apple boskop
- 250 g Diced vegetable onions
- 200 ml Uht milk
- 100 g Flour
- Pepper from the grinder
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Sea salt from the mill
- 0,5 piece Squeezed lemon
- Wash the liver and remove the tendons, cut pieces into appropriate portions and soak in milk for about 2 hours.
- Peel and core the apples, cut into pieces and drizzle with a little squeezed lemon.
- Peel the vegetable onions and cut into slices. Fry in the pan with a tablespoon until golden brown. Then fry the onions on their side and the apples on all sides.
- Dab the liver dry and season with pepper on all sides, fry on all sides for about 5 – 10 minutes (in the first third of the heat), add apples and onions, keep warm for another five minutes.
- Serve with mashed potatoes and salt from the mill,
