Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g Chinese egg noodles (Mie noodles)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp peanuts, unsalted
  • 2 large chili peppers
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 600 g turkey breast or 300 g shelled shrimp
  • 50 g bean sprouts (bamboo shoots)
  • 60 g carrot(s), peeled, sliced ​​into fine strips
  • 80 g Chinese cabbage, Packjoi or pointed cabbage
  • 20 g diced tomatoes
  • 30 g peas or snow peas
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce, dark

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Let the noodles soak in about 1 liter of boiled water with 50 ml of soy sauce or stock for 5 minutes (do not let the noodles boil). Slice the chilies and remove the seeds. Puree the garlic, chilies, and nuts into a fine paste. Make sure the vegetables are already chopped and the remaining ingredients are ready. Finely dice the onion and fry it in a wok (or other deep pan) with the oil. You can add strips of turkey breast or shrimp to this dish. Sauté them together with the onions. Add the seasoning paste and let the aroma develop. Add the cabbage, carrots, and peas and cook until half cooked. Add the remaining ingredients and heat through.
